Norbert Akantorana Bwana – Senior Physiotherapist

Norbert is a certified Senior Physiotherapist working with Physique as the Supervisor. Most of his patients he has seen over the years have spinal related problems. He is a trained Manual Therapist and has a wide range of knowledge and experience in different areas related to physical health. His greatest strength as a Physiotherapist is in the prevention and management of neuro-musculoskeletal conditions. Norbert is also involved in ergonomic awareness activities and campaigns by carrying out identification exercises with companies for the avoidance of injuries, analyzing job functions, as well as providing education and training on injury prevention, workplace health and safety regulations and managing job-related stress. He has also carried out training programmes in ergonomics, stress management, among others, in different corporate companies on behalf of Physique Limited.

Richard Kayongo – Senior Physiotherapist

Richard is a Senior physiotherapist who also deals in neuro development physiotherapy and can also handle neuropathies associated with neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy, spinal transections and cerebral vascular accidents.   His qualifications enable him to use evidence-based approach in Physiotherapy. The rehabilitation includes giving advice, physical exercise, postural training and sometimes specific massage. Quite often, his treatment techniques include joint mobilization and manipulation.
Richard has a wide range of experience including orthopaedics, spinal injury and manipulative therapy. He also has a lot of experience working alongside other physiotherapists with varying degrees of experience and knowledge.
Since qualifying as a Physiotherapist, in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy, Richard has worked in various practices as a Posture Therapist, Orthopaedic Consultant and Advisor in various centres in Kampala, and is currently a Senior Physiotherapist in Uganda.

Annette Nabachwa – Physiotherapist

Annette is a physiotherapist with a wealth of experience and competences in hands on physiotherapist duties. She holds a Bachelors degree in Business Physiotherapy from Barkatullah University Bhopal in India

Joel Kiyagga

Joel  is a qualified Physiotherapist from Mulago School of Physiotherapy. He has a good range of experience working in an out-patient setting in the treatment of back pain, arthritis conditions, stroke patients, sports injuries and much more. Joel is committed to continuing his professional development and is attending courses to develop new techniques and improve existing skills.

Julius Omoding – Speech and Language Therapist

Julius has an Honors Degree in Speech and Language Therapy from Makerere University. His profession is responsible for the prevention, assessment, treatment and scientific study of human communication and related disorders. He combines scientific knowledge and clinical skills to achieve the best possible management for our clients.

Jovan Walukagga – Occupational Therapist

Jovan is a qualified Occupational Therapist from Mulago Paramedical Training School. Occupational Therapy involves the rehabilitation of individuals of all ages with physical, mental and psychological problems by use of carefully selected and analyzed activities to restore functioning, or enable them to develop compensatory skills in order to promote independent functioning and thereby enhancing on their health and well-being.
